Custom Rear Mounted Turbo Hits The Track
Guys
I finally got the car to the track after working thru some issues. It nwas time to put this crazy setup to the test in competition.
Now let’s talk about the fastest field ever. We had 4 cars in the 8's Knowing The Low ET crew has gone 8.0 in the past the bar was set. Valla showed us he could get that beast down the track with one of the cleanest passes I have ever seen that car run. (8.26) I was still working out bugs and really trying to learn the car every pass ended with a new issue but we kept plugging away and continued to make progress. My best pass of the day was an 8.13 in the morning session backing it up with an 8.14 during qualifying. I was really having a hard time breaking old habits and was doing a real bad job staging and building boost at the line costing me my 7 sec slip. I had Leo lining me up and making some minor adjustments and Jobe was reviewing all the data and adjusting the tune accordingly. We were going to get that 7 sec slip it just need a better launch. Then the rain comes that took to wind out of my sail I was killing my self working thru the issues. I was ready but the event was called. At least I still have a shot to be the first Pro 8 car in the 7's but I know there are at least two other cars that can get it done. Stay tuned the rest of season is sure to be exciting for everyone.
Once again thanks to The Vette Doctors, Never lift, American Racing Headers and Turbo People for putting together one awesome car.

The setup is nothing like an STS setup. I was planning on heading to N/S shoot out but we may have our make up race on that day for this rain out. We will have to see
