What sucks is that I was having to lift on every pass at about the 60' mark. This pass was before. The boost was ramping in so hard that it was trying to put it on the bumper. Were tying the front down and going to try again at another Radial race on the 30th. That and a few other things should put me in the 30's or 20's.
In all I made 10 passes this weekend- 8.41 -.44 -.48 -.52 -.55 -.56 -.59 -.62 -.79 and a 9.12 but it was at 169mph.
This was at Race Warz in Milan MI. I made it to the semis in Drag Radial and took second to Kurt in Underwood's car in the Late Model Shootout.
Race weight was 3,690lbs. Running M/T 325/50 Drag Radials. 116 Extreme Fuel.

What PSI ya running in the tires and were you shifting at?? Still Hydralic roller???
We found that 13psi cold is the magic # in my pig.
Still hydr. I had the rev limitter set at 7700 and was shifting it at 7300-7400. But I ran out of gear so I bumped it to 8000. I'm now shifting it at 7700-7800.

Congrats on your new PB!
so no methanol anymore?
. Insane would be one word, but just flat *** crazy is another. Congrats. Are you running front end limiters? Are you allowed to run wheelie bars in your class? If so, they can be a friend - bumper dragging is no fun believe me. 2-step? How are you controlling your boost - speed increase? Max boost during your best run? I'm asking so many question because we are having a little bit of a problem leaving so hard once we use the boost controller.

I use a 2-step but depending on how fast the tree is, how hot I go in, or who stages 1st can be the difference in a couple psi. That usually isn't the problem though. It will hit the tires, launch and carry the wheels. The power then comes on and it starts going up. Usually about 40' out.
Right now all I have is a regulator to turn the boost up or down which also determines ramp rate. I was running about 26psi peak. Which makes it go from 10psi to 20psi in about 1.2 seconds.
In the past I have been able to control this with timing. But once this new motor and turbo get going it doesn't seem to matter.

I think the limiters and a little more tuning will get me what I need.
Your motor ok? Last I remember reading you lost oil pressure?

(i'm just jealous)
