Thumbs up Magnacharged F-body track videos inside

Well, I was finally able to get the videos from Muncie dragway onto a digital format, and get them online. My website isn't quite finished yet, so they are up on my buddies site, but they are pretty cool!

The first few runs we were still sorting out some shifting bugs, but the last few we started to get it dialed in and the very last run is where we broke into the 11's

The thing to watch is how quickly the car gets off the line and around whoever I'm racing. The last 2 runs were against a typical Buick Grand National, and a Pontiac GTP, notice how quickly I get around them, the GTP even got the leave on me and I still got him around the 100' mark!

Let me know if I can answer any questions, enjoy!

http://www.rivimp.com/

just go to his site and click on the "project Camaro video" link, he's the owner of the car.

Was this the intercooled kit running on a bone stock motor? If so, that's some strong running!

The car in the video is indeed the car in my sig. All of these runs were made at 5PSI, intercooled kits will make 7 PSI.

Let me know if I can answer any more questions,

Nice runs Ed!

Are you running some LCA relocation brackets? If not , they'll help stop the squat you're getting. Add a bigger converter and some tarrrrs.....you'll go bottom 11's.

How come the car sputters on some of the runs?

It's hitting the rev limiter.

A little EFI Live tuning will fix it

Hard to tell on my computer's speakers, but is there noticeable blower whine? I LOVE that sound, so just curious? Awesome runs Ed!

I thought I heard the car sputtering also and it was before the rev limiter. Still nice run's.

The first few runs we were having some shifting troubles, but we tuned it right out with the EFILive software. The runs start out about 12.40 and gradually get better by playing with shift points, eventually getting into the 11's

The owner is just finishing some upgrades to the LCA's, relocating brackets, and some big tarrrs as per Tom it's also making 7PSI now due to a pulley change which picked up the numbers to 460RWHP/453RWTQ!

Now I just need a track to take it to!

Hi Jared, It was good talking to you too! If you were standing on the street, and someone did a flyby with this car, you would really know something was up! you can hear the S/C at WOT, and this car has a Magnaflow cat back with ORY pipe, so it sounds aggressive! Inside the car, you can hear the blower whine real good at WOT, but not at all, at low or mid range throttle.

It's quiet when you cruise, and aggressive when you floor it!

Hope this helps,
Ed

At 5 psi the whine won't be very loud. The 03/04 Cobra whine is loud at WOT, but those guys are pushing 12+psi (pullied off course).
