STS install pics... and stuff...
...do you think I should give some of these pics to STS to brighten up some gray areas.... lol
also...i'm still running the TR-55 NGK's right now and it seems fine, BUT i have noticed that when i get on up in rpms like 4400rpm and a little higher that its kinda bumpy.. figuring its the spark plugs, those are getting changed out tomorrow.
to me it makes no sense to have such a large bend down and have the pipe go as far down as it does....
well, i will update when i get custom work done.... as the silly a** exhaust pipe is getting replaced... god that thing is horrid. and factory tips are going on... sleeper loook, well okay i'm trying.. LMAO. and that pipe is getting bent up and moved up...
IAT's have been 65 - 90 on normal driving and WOT runs... the other day with it 60 degrees outside and logging throttle up and down i saw 109 but thats it.....
Didn't you say those plugs were gapped at like 55? 35 on the TR6s should work well if ya didn't know.
Sounds good, stay cautious on the tune.

TR-6's will be in tomorrow, and i will get the top AFR to around a 11.5, makin a tune now, haven't increased spark any

tell me about it.....this is the lowest point of the sts on my car. i mean they could of helped us out and angled it up better. i guess its so the silicone connector can slip on easier?
my dad and I are going to see about either getting a mandrel bent pipe for that or doing weld by weld... lol. that is going to be a while though, since its all custom work, hopefully (keyword) that will be done by April 14th and 15th for the food lion autofair @ lowes motor speedway
Just cut, tack weld, and tack weld again across the pipe on the other side, then start welding around. Don't tack on one side, then start welding around, the metal will open up on the other side before you can get around there to it.
Other than that, great build! I'm watching and iching to do this myself.

1. I wrapped the STS pipe with heat reflective tape where it passes by the driver side header/ cat converter. Keeps the intake charge from being heated by the driver side exhaust.
2. If you add a FMIC later on (TRT is the one I have).....it eliminates the stupid dip of the pipe in the front of the car. I gained a good 2" ground clearance up front from that.
3. Yu want to swap those TR-55's for some TR6's.
Have fun tuning it too! I had a few days to do mine before deploying the the middle east....it isn't the best "beginner" tuning project. Still have lots o' work to finish. Definetly doable though.
the car runs fine and no problems
.... just gotta get some good dyno time and i'm using racetronix PnP kit 255Lph (w/harness)
this is just for people that have asked
