There are many STS owners who complain about loud pumps. What is your position on that?
Not too many complaints about it being loud so far. We do alot of trucks and the pump being loud isnt a concern where its mounted on trucks.

TRT, do you sell wastegate springs that I could install while I'm there when I drive my car down there to get tuned in approximately 2 weeks?

Ah yes, I am from Houston originally, and lived in Far North Dallas for 9 years, so I know about the truck ratio. But they are still noisy, even after all these years of development of the system?
On the fbody, it is bolted to the back of the rear seat and reverberates through the cabin like a banshee.

Yes, we do. Let me know in advance so I can make sure I have the spring you want.

If the installer takes time to do it right, there are very few issues with the kit.
There are things we change, but just like anyone else, we can see a better way to do a few things and we do.

There are several things I have had to change about mine. Im surprised they dont give you the option to upgrade stuff when you buy it. If I hadnt bought mine used I would not have gotten it from sts.

How much would it cost to get all tbolt clamps needed for the kit. I will eventually change the coupling too.

I bought mine from www.siliconeintakes.com

They're like $2.60 a clamp and they have reasonable shipping prices.

Remember, if you buy a clamp that's too small, you're screwed. If you get one that's a little too big, they'll still tighten down properly (within reason of course).

I would get 2.5" clamps for all the intake piping, 3" for the FMIC and 3.75" for the MAF coupler (if you still have one).

well guys, I'm a little pissed/dissapointed but for what I have in the car its not bad at all i think.

5psi to the dot, no intercooler of any sort, no meth, no nothing , just bolting the kit on the car and going with a tune: she made 423HP and 431TQ SAE.

I don't know why the tq number isn't higher like all the other cars, I'm still running the stock cam, stock heads, etc etc. I will get the dyno graph up soon

Dynojet? On corrected numbers, that's really not too bad! Also, don't you have a 12 bolt?

My numbers are in my sig, but I was running a FMIC. My AFR is about 11.6:1 and my timing is at 18 degrees in boost. Fairly conservative in my opinion.

With the exhaust wrapped (next month), I should be putting down closer to the 490s. That should probably be the next mod you do other than the FMIC and upping the boost!
