McLeod makes a SFI approved bellhousing, is a slightly custom install.

My best to date is a 1.8 on BFG's, 16lbs of tire pressure. I think I can cut some better ones if I get the tires hotter though.

I have BMR boxed LCA's, an airbag in the right rear spring. The rest of the suspension is factory stock (including the tq arm) with 80k miles on it. Did I mention the 2.75 rear gear that I run too. I don't run skinnies either, stock 17x9 SS wheels.

I'm hoping with some susp work and switching to a 26x10.5x15 tire (using 26x11.5x16 now) I can get in the 1.4x range. What I have now doesn't seem to work too bad though.

P.S. I can't launch a 6spd car to save my life, I flat out suck at it. It was easier to mod the car than my driving (3 years of launching 6spd cars and I was still mr. 2.0 60' lol )

I was using the McLeod Twin Disk. RPM's were about 4000 and I slipped but almost dumped the clutch. The track was dead hooking with VHT. The BFG's really hooked well with low tire pressure. I wish I could remember the pressure but I was playing with them all day. The McLeod twin never gave up the ghost. I'm looking at the slip and with the 117MPH I think I may have been spraying the car with a 125 dry shot. I had a 12 bolt in there at the time.

Best 60' on a 325/50 MT DR was a 1.67 with 14psi pre-burnout coming out at 4800. Anything above that wasn't happening.

First and only time out on the 28x13.5 Hoosier QTP's so far was 1.70 with a bog. 13psi cold coming out at 5400. Working through a rich condition after the initial hit. Had a much better run later on (added timing) but missed a shift and screwed the run. I was so angry I never picked up my slip . Broke a u-joint shortly after. I've been kicking myself everday until I get back to the track.
