What all are they doing to the engine to make it hold 20psi?
Are they resleeving the block and adding billet mains?
You were running a stock LS2 block, sleeves, and mains correct?
Sorry to ask so many questions I am just wondering what "should" be done to a block to make sure it will hold that kind of HP and TQ, or if it would be worth buying a Warhawk block for a build like this.
Thanks for all the information, I still believe the 2.8L can fit, but my ideas of what can be done are WAY off from others. Just look at my cardomain page in my signature and you will see what I mean...

The I/C Maggie is just shy of 9.5" from the lowest point on the manifold, to the hihgest point on the supercharger. Magnuson does have bigger blowers on the works, and I am trying to get my hands on one to do some fitment work.
Believe me, this roots setup is great with a 112, and with a bigger blower, it will be even better!

Ed, My blower will be off the car for about 3 more weeks. If you want, I will be more than happy to ship it out to you so you can try and mock something up.
If what your saying is true, it might work. I would just think you would have to turn it around and run a jack shaft like the maggie. This wouldnt be too awefully difficult, it would just take a little creativity. I am just blown away that the KB requires such a larger hood, but its essentially the same height.
Let me know and I'll box it up for you.

I'm not sleeving or O-ringing anything. Its really not all that necessary for my application. I will not be running that high of boost all the time.
I'm running wiseco forged pistons, callies crank, manley rods, AFR 225 heads, ALL ARP studs, larger ARP L19 head studs, clevite bearings, and a billet main stud girdle. Obviously there are a few other things, but these are about the most important.

ED - Take AMERICAN HP up on his offer, we would all love to see a KB made to fit.
