Default ETP 265's and Victor Jr manifold

Has anyone run this combo in a FI setup shed some light.

Wondering if the Victor ports will be too small to flow these heads.

Super Victor......interesting.
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...fi_chevy.shtml

Victor Jr, I was worried that it did not have enough material to work with. Runners look real small.

And the only sheetmetal intake that I like, Wilson's Billet Bank kind of steep at $3K but I just might go with that one. Just have not heard any real life opinions on it.

Harrop just looks too crazy.

the wilson gets in its own way,(port runners inside the intake).hurts flow .what 9 ball has,the beck with runners going to opposing sides, seems to me the way to go.longer runners, better torque down low.

I don't know the Beck manifold still looks like a tub style just with longer runners. I didn't see where it was going to oposing runners.

But what really concerns me is that she sits a little high. I don't think I have the hood clearance for that. As it is the Fast 90 barely clears.

I guess you are waiting on one as well.

IMO for the money the Super Victor will probably be the best choice.

You will deffinantly need to hack the hood. You need to hack it with the Jr. Vic, and the Super Vic is 1.12" taller.

that is why I am asking on how much clearance someone would need. Would super vic fit under a 4 inch cowl?

with the right elbow you shouldn't need to go to a 4in cowl

Mike Brown was running a standard Vic Jr with an aaron's elbow and it cleared fine on a
WS6 hood. The only thing required was to cut the cowl piece to notch out the elbow.

I know the vic Jr. fits under the stock hood but the super vic Jr. that is comign out- would that one fit under the stock hood- I am guessing not.

If someone was going to get the 4 inch cowl hood, which elbow would be best, as I see guys runnign small elbows to fit under the stock hood. So is there anything better out there if you had more space.

I have the 255's and ported them to match my Vic Jr. There was barely enough material left to hold the rubber oring. Probally ported about a 1/4inch on each runner.
