Default Best plugs for a turbo setup

I know this is probably somewhere but teh search button around here is a pain


What would be the ideal spark plugs for a 8.9 compression turbo setup?

less than 20......hopefully around 15 most of the time

Which NGK 8s do you run? Projected or non projected tips?

Autolite Racing (like NASCAR) AR94's here best plug I have ever ran.

i have run the same plugs on my car forever, AC R42lTS. made 1200hp with them. The buick guys have used them as well. Not sure if ls1 plugs are diff though

From what I have seen they both take the same plugs. The Buicks use R42TS on the tamer combinations. Most of the hot street cars use Autolite 103's. The faster race cars use Autolite 3294's

Jason, Street usage we use TR-6 for mild boost (8-9 psi) and TR-7 for moderate boost (10-13 psi) and TR-8 for higher boost (14+). TODD

Jason, I used TR6's gapped @ .032 with 12#'s of boost

Ive used TR-6's @ 20 psi, but im about to go a lil colder.....

Why doesnt anyone try the HKS spark plugs?

If there over $4 each i wont even bother.... ill stick with my $2 plugs.... they work
