Default New Best with the Supercharger

I finally got the car to the track and it was probably the hottest day of the year so far. DA was around 2800'. For the first time running with the supercharger (F1A) and taking the weather conditions into account, I am very happy. I hit the rev limiter in third gear which I feel hurt my mph some. 1.507 60' 10.23 @ 134.64. I know the car has 9s in it with alittle more practice and cooler weather. My raceweight is about 3700 lbs.

damn man, nice work...good luck on the 9s, imagine it shouldn't be too hard for you especially if you pull some weight off the beast.

Thanks, I am not planning on taking any weight out of the car. It is 90% street car, 10% drag car. I am running Koni SA shocks all the way around, Hoosier 28x10.5x15 stiff sidewall slicks, and front sway bar unhooked. I really like how my car handles and rides on the street with the Koni's and was shocked at the 60' I was able to cut. Guess I am probably going to sell my drag shocks now.

Since I dynoed 864, I have changed my pulley and am running 15.5 lbs of boost and dynoed 914 rwhp and 776 rwtq.

nice job rowing the gears. how is the exo-skel holding up? my buddy has a 402/F1 combo and he tore right through his on 325 mt's

instead of a 9.99 shoot for 9.91 and beat my old car to the grave finally.

your car must be fun fun fun to drive. even at your da i would think the mph would higher wouldn't it with the big power you are making?

People tend to forget that dyno numbers are corrected and dragstrip numbers are not. 3700lbs @ 135mph is around 620rwhp FWIW but the weather and M6 cars need to beat on pretty well to get the most mph.

Either way nice numbers on a M6 car with stockish suspension, I'm sure 9s are in the near future for ya.

Thanks everyone. I do have a custom torque arm, adjustable control arms and panhard rod. I was running double adjustable Afco shocks in the front with double adjustable QA1 coil overs in the rear but I wanted the car to handle better on the street so I switched to the SA Koni's. I was very pleased with a 1.50 60' with the Koni's. Most likely going to sell my drag shocks. I even have a Spohn drag bar that isn't on the car now that I will probably sell.

I think my exo-skel slipped on the 3-4 shift on my last run. Planning on running my car again on the 14th at a track rental so then I will get to check the exo-skel out more.
