Default so i was bored today and fabbed up a different alternator bracket

decided to mess with my TA and wanted to find a easier way to make a bracket.
the alternator sits a little lower in case anyone needs to use this for an rx7 swap or any swap were they are worried about hood clearance.
also its easier to clear aftermarket fuel rails, and hopefully still is out of the way for taller valve covers.
tried to get the belt out of the way down below to if anyone needs to run a downpipe back on the driver side
hopefully it looks clearer too as the only visible piece besides the alternator is a polished aluminum piece.
a friend of mine is suppose to try it out next week and see how well it works, as my car isnt moving as of late (got to get the tranny going)
still need to get the right size belt and bolt lengths.
since its easier to make its le$$

yes, also the tensioner has a special bracket to place it there.
the actual alternator bracket is a simple piece, but the tensioner bracket is a bit more complex.

not that i have heard of, all the once i have seen are on the driver side, either high or low, might have to do with the lines going to the rack as most GM's are on the driver side.

Hydraulic lines are easy....Mine swap from left to right anyway, being right hand drive...

But if my PAS pump wasnt there, it would leave room for a V4-XX or even a Z trim instead of my YSi, in my existing bracketry.

Just a notion Im thinking about, probably wont happen though....

I am getting rid of power steering. Think the alt will work in the power steering pump location?

i make a different alt bracket that takes the place of the power steering and keeps the tensioner in the same place.
