Running Lean (Procharger Related)...
Alright fella's, Im having some problems with the Camaro and was needing some input on fueling questions from people who know more about it than i do. Well, Rhino79 and I went out to tune my car about a month back and come to find out my car is running lean past 5k RPM's (loosing fuel pressure). That being said I called Bob at EPP (Who was extremely helpful once again) and he suggested to change me Fuel Filter (being it was the original with 55K miles on it). So once that was done I went out for a test run and my fuel Pressure was fine at 60lbs under WOT. Back to Rhino79 I went again, this time It was the same deal with the Injector Duty Cycle running at 195% (while still running lean past 5K RPM's)! Now, onto my questions...
1. Are my Injectors big enough (Green Top SVO's *42lbs*)?
2. Do you think its just my STOCK In-Tank pump being sucked dry by my In-Line Pump (And that I should just replace it)?
New Mods are (Keep in mind the car ran Flawless before these)
*AFR225cc Heads
*EPP's Blower Cam
*Upgraded to the 8 Rib set-up on 10-12 lbs of boost
HELP ME PLEASE!

My first guess would be that those injectors are too small. I don't think it would be your pump if your constantly running at 60psi under full load, then again I could see it happening.

Best I remember, we only ran it hard twice with the Fuel Pressure Gauge in it. I had my buddy watching the Gauge (I had to watch the road), so it very well could have dropped a little. Is anyone else running Similar Mods (estimated 550hp or so) with the Green Top SVO's?
Thanks for the help, Blake

You dont say what blower, if if FP is boost referenced, so I'll assume it isnt.
So you have 60psi-12psi of boost which is leaving you with 48psi of usable fuel pressure. Combine that with relatively small 42lb injectors....
Then you dont mention what pumps you are even using ????
So yes....its no surprise its running lean.

StevieTurbo...Kinda lost about what your talking about...
Frost...Thanks man (replied to your PM)
So does everyone agree it would probably be in my best Interest to go ahead and get the 60lb Injectors and Get a new In Tank or two?
Thanks, Blake

For that kind of power, a ad on inline pump is worthless for the most part.
You will need a walbro 255 for around the 550hp level, and 2 of them for anything above that. Keep in mind that 550hp is borderline safe if you rag it pretty good, don't be surprised when parts start breaking, its just the name of the game with stock parts.
With the AFR heads, and our cam, you will need to probably build the bottom end soon.
Its a good excuse to go faster

Ditch the in-line booster pump, it can't flow enough to keep up with the in-tank Walbro and becomes a restriction. I JUST ran into this a few months ago, and dual in-tanks knocked that **** out quick. 12.7psi on a P1, FYI, and made 546rwhp...
