The walbros have always been reliable for me... its just like Kyle said though.... if one geos down you won't know it until its too late usually

I jsut got back from the track and the car was almost no more 2 times.... this was on the lowest boost setting... track had no bite, sucked. Good thing there was nobody in the other lane because I used every bit of it LOL

thanks guys!

After driving the car some 150 miles today, these are my observations.

At the track it was great... shifts very easily and fast under the power.
on the street, it is sort of a pita, it becomes annoying to drive because of the noise and in traffic you gotta do alot of 1-2-3-4 shifts. Also in traffic lots of downshifts are required, and its difficult to do. Its not THAT bad but the noise is piercing my head and I think its breaking something

Infact my tranny mount is about done already...

Part of the difficulty in driving mine is because of the clutch though.. the twin disc spec clutch is veryyyy rough which adds to the tranny roughness in traffic.

i thought the spec twin was supposed to be nice and easy but hold the power,ie a spec 5 but more "streetable",whatever that means.i havent complained yet about the 5 myself.why is the tranny so noisy, because of the design or how it grabs,ie no synchros?

Lol, I use to love my six speed too. It's just a shame to have all that power and not be able to run a number,, Unless you drive the car on the street alot. I loved the six speed on the street with lower power levels. I just hated getting beat by all the automatics. I love your set up!

Btw, what head gaslets did you use?

I had a Weldon 2025 on my car for a brief spell, it was the loudest part of the whole setup including my exhaust. I now run two Bosch pumps.

If you run a weldon with the controller it will slow the pump down at idle/part throttle you wont hear it... only turns it up under boost.

BTW Im running cometic gaskets!

here is a couple vids from yesterday a friend of mine took. They aren't very good lol. The horrible whining noise is the clutch... the clanking is the tranny.
