We just now recieved the LSX 427 that will be going into our shop car and while it's not running yet I fully expect to be able to run much more power with the standard MLS gaskets and 6bolts/cyl arrangement.

As far as your car, it's just a guess but you should be able to achieve your 800rwhp goal with the improvements you made.

Is the shop car the one you guys took on drag week? I love that car, I still have the GMHTP where it was featured with the D1SC.

Do you guys run 1/2" studs on production blocks?

Yes, the shop car is the one we drove on Drag Week. We run standard size studs on the production blocks. Our LSX motor is set up for 1/2in and 3/8 fasteners.

How far do you think you could push your iron 370 with some LQ9 heads? Thats what I'm builoding and looking to max the D1SC on it and possibly spray on top of that. How hard would it be to tune that or will it push water and just be too much for those heads? I was thinking about running up to a 100 or 150 shot running a race fuel while spraying 110 octane or more?

I'd like to know this too, i'm shocked it put down 800rwhp through the single 3" exhaust when you see everybody preaching that you need 3" duals when they have 400hp. I like seeing results like this.

****, when you have boost, you can run a flowmaster and STILL get good power...
well maybe anything BUT a flowmaster, hah.
I would have liked to hear what a blown Lsx block pushing 800hp with four mufflers by three different brands would sound like on an fbody?
Everyone just runs a single turbo muffler, an aftermarket c/b w/ cutout or none at all so its def unique.
Speed Inc should have removed the exhaust for a few runs to see what she really could have made. Not like it would have hurt that purdy block anyways...
