Plenty of turbo guys running meth so it is not like they don't use it as well. You choose not to and to each his own. The comment about turbos having more h.p. over superchargers is beating a dead horse at this time so just leave that one alone. Every setup has its strength and weaknesses and your emoticons show your maturity. Did you come to talk tech or to argue? If you want to argue then start your own thread. Thanks and have a nice night.

I do not want to argue and I am not immature I am 35 yrs old and and an x ray tech at a large trauma center.I love KB's and would have probibly gotten one if it would fit under the hood of an f body. I have raced a few KB cobras and they pull from low rpms nice, but the topend cannot compete with my turbo. I repect my fellow tech members and do not want to argue I just went through the smilies sheet and picked all my favorite ones since I think they add a nice touch. Your setup kicks *** hands down and C5's are very nice and light and handle great. I am just turbo biased. Don't get defensive just because of the smilies and the benefits of turbos that I listed.

You couldnt be more wrong..
Before you call something in-efficient, you need to do some readin..
EVERY kit has its downsides.. Wether its a PD blower that runs a manifold style I/C, or a turbo with a MASSIVE FMIC that blocks the cooling of the motor.
Pick your poison..

In fact I am so mature and responible they put me incharge of all the techs on the weekends. Never mind I will leave it alone.
You also don't have all of the advantages of a screw type PD supercharger. It is pointless to continue the Turbo/Super argument in here as it is not the place.

Very nice guys. I browsed through this and the dyno thread and can't wait to see the results of the bigger motor and more boost.
I may have missed it in the thread already, but what size motor are you planning on going with? What compression ratio, and how much boost?

What upper and lower pulley are you currently running? Do you know the combo Jeff had on there for his 800whp runs?
Also, when you build your forged motor, what CR are you planning?
Thanks,
Jim

I am using the stock pulley right now which is 7 something but I have an 8" Innovative that is going on the forged motor. Right now I have the 3.00" on there right now. I have all the way down to 2.25 that will be put on as well with the forged setup. I am not entirely sure on what setup he was using other than the 8" on the crank. He also had a 402. Planning for a 9.25:1......
