Those turbos are known to fail......at least that's what I hear. Get a T76gts.

Turbo is also too small to make 550-600 rwhp on that big of a engine. If you are looking for 550 crank it may do it.

we all 550rwhp wont keep you happy that long. im guessing you have this turbo already and thats why you want to used. a 76mm on Kyles T/A was being choked i believe. and thas why he stepped it up to an 88mm

You might want to consider the tc76 that Jose over at Forced Inductions sells. It has pretty good reviews and is suppose to offer quick spool, reliability and good power for an affordable price. Basically a cheaper turbo that isn't junk. Definitely can't go wrong with the T76GTS either. Just isn't cheap....

the t76 is rated up to 1100 hp im not planning on not even 700hp just the most close to 600 range its because i use to had the MPT70 turbo on my 5.3 and i blew the engine so right now im building a 6.0 30 over so im just planning on leaving my mpt70 and see how it works so i wont even get close to 600 hp with this turbo or even 550hp so what do you all think like i say i dont want 700-1100 hp im fine with over 500 hp with my 6.0l !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The power rating of the turbo has nothing to do with why the turbo doesnt fit the combo very well. The problem is that you have a 370 cubic inch engine and a turbo with a small exhaust side. When you start to push the turbo to make more boost/power there will be alot of backpressure. There is only one way to find out if that t70 will make the power you want it to on that motor.

If you are set on trying it out I would measure backpressure, and call it quits on pushing it when the backpressure goes twice as high as the boost to the intake.

So will it work for around 580hp not some hard core hp im happy around 580 the the most so will my Master Power T70 .96 a/r get me there or even close. So what do you think I know a T76 would be great but the t76 is rated up to 1000 hp and thats to much for me. This is my daily driver with a little turbo so can i give it a try anyways and i wont mess up my engine with the T70 ,this turbo is rated up to 650hp - 800hp i think??????

Even though I "sort of" agree with the point you are trying to make, a 2/1 backpressure ratio is good on a street motor.

what dose the 2/1 backpressure ratio means is it the .96a/r T4 flange or what. And how can i mesure the back presure on my engine is there some kind of calculator to mesure the back pressure.

Just like you do on the manifold, you need to tap the hot side and run a line/gauge that can stand up to the high exhaust temps.

The t70 is a little small for the 370, its small for my 357. I haven't measured my backpressure yet but my last set of gaskets says its high - Popped the gasket in 3 different places at once.

Sick of the MP bashing over hear on tech - Just because somebody USED to sell them and advertise the hell out of them, and now since they don't sell them everybody hates it. Its a good entry level turbo. Don't turn it into the ebay split compressor legend, which was false too.
