It depends on how much power you want to get out of it, or what you might plan on doing with it in the future. A D-1SC at 16 psi is going to be maxed out, where an F-1A is in it's prime in that range. For me, I would go with the F-1A. It is louder but I'm lucky that my wife likes the sound! Bob

You could probably get it to fit with some work, like moving the radiator forward. But, don't forget about a key factor...keeping the car from overheating, especially in stop and go traffic in 95degree humid weather.
I have a thicker radiator and dual spal fans on my D1, and it's just at the edge of overheating in stop and go traffic. At that point I usually turn the ac off until I'm cruising again. I'd imagine the F1A will be much more difficult to keep from overheating during summertime stop and go traffic.

Great way to keep me from taking it off of my car. Now that I know 40bls is all I'll be saving in weight I'll just keep mine here in Texas we don't have the cool weather for very long down here maybe 2-3 months a year and the rest are hot and humid LOL! I run my A/C with out any issues had to make a few adjustments to keep the car cool while running the A/C all the time nothing big put all the air deflectors back in etc...
