Default Borg warner turbo owners

I'm not really sure how many owners are really out there, but i have a Ls2 and wanting to do one of these turbos and i need help. Im wanting to do the kit with totally built heads for right now, but later build the whole block up and try for 700 hp. What kind of turbo could help me do this?

Really anyone with input please let me know!!! Thanks

You are going to want a forged shortblock. I have heard of people using a stock casting head and getting over 700whp with them.

So you can get 700 hp on the stock block? Does that mean all you need is forged pistons, rods, and crank?

You haveto upgrade the heads in order to boost it dont you? so you dont float a valve?

You probably dont need a crank. Just rods, ands pistons, rings, and maybe do truck heads for low compression.

Lots of people use truck blocks with stock crank, and just forged rods, and pistons and make alot of power. The stock crank has been proven good for alot of hp.

OK so forged pistons and rods..... the truck heads.... is that the L92 heads and L76 intake? Cause i was looking at SLP's package they had where is had new springs, retainers, and rocker arms. That any good? andddd what does is change with the combustion chambers set at 64 cc's instead of the stock 70.2.... that that change compression?
