Default Procharger D1sc and ATI damper drive belts...

Question for those who have gone thru the d1 install.
Car is a 2001 trans am, with the 8 rib setup.
We got the new damper on there, and the "J" bracket.
Tried to put the AC and the power steering / alternator / water pump drive belt, and they are too long. Which is due to the new ATI damper. So i need a couple shorter belts.

Dose any one have a part number or the size of the belts that i need???

Any help would be great.

Thanks...

you must have the 10% underdrive pullies. I tried to find the package for the belts that I bought because I went thru this myself, but I cant find them. I think the long belt will be 73.25. try doing a search quick or call Bob from Exotic Performance Plus he will most likely know off the top of his head what the lengths are

I used a string, ran it around the pulleys and then measured the length. Found a belt closest to that length.

Default There's lengths in those part numbers!

No problem!

K060775 Accessory Belt
K040390 A/C Belt

These part numbers have info coded in them as well...

For example, the 060775 has an 06 for 6-rib and an 0775 for 77.5" long. The A/C belt is a 39" long 4-rib belt.

My old ASP 25% under pulley took K060760 and K040378 belts. They were 76" and 37.8" long. Makes sense to have shorter belts for a smaller pulley.

Cheers!

I got my kit from Bob at EPP, i have been talking with Jake thru out my build (to which he has been very very helpful), but they have been a little hard to get a hold of the last few days, due to there newer phone system i think.

The 2 part numbers that white01ss were the ones i needed.
K060775 Accessory Belt
K040390 A/C Belt

The 8 rib belt that came with the procharger fit fine, i just needed the shorter stock belts.

Once this build is done, I am going to write a thread up with all the little odd's and end's things that i have had to get. So others don't have to go to the parts store a couple times a day like myself.

Thanks again for everyones help... Just waiting on the FMIC from Bob, and i can get this thing buttoned up and tuned!!!

Thanks...

Hey Mike,

I hope you have forged pistons in that LS6 block of yours because you're probably going to make over 550 rwhp even on the biggest pulley.

That thing is going to kick some serious but.

Dan
