There are a couple of guys on the corvette forums making 700+ on 400+ ci motors and some guys making 600+ on a 347. It is like anything else horse power = money. Every one knows you can only go so far (safely) on a stock motor. W/ a 347,some AFR 225s,A big cam,Alchy( for safety on 93),and some good tuning I dont see a problem w/ 650 rwhp. The point still remains this is not the BEST setup for drag racing but for the street its pretty friggin awesome. Besides your not gonna hook up 600 hp on the street anyway.

BTW no popping here! I believe they were working on the wot tune first as this is a sd tune.

BINGO!

And that 8lbs is not maxed, my 364 with 112 @ 9psi makes 500/500 with a boost bleeding cam and all bolt ons letting that boost escape more efficiently.[bigger motor, boost bleeding cam, all bolt ons...an airpump with less restriction due to the previously mentioned will not build as much pressure(boost)] But even without more boost there is at least antohter 100rwhp with all the boltons, cam and methanol. They should have at least put the boltons and cam before advertising it. But then again the numbers with bone stock setup are imprssive as well. No doubt with more boost(guessing 11-12 max with H/C and all boltons, you're easinly knocking on 600rwhp. And like a couple guys said, thats damn nice in a street car with INSTANT boost. 450rwtq at 2500 and thats with a motor thats choking its brains out...impressive!

2k install is IMO a little high, but I installed mine in 10 hrs with A LOT of help from a friend and it didnt cost me anything. After have help and watching every step I did not do myself, I could easily put one on myself easily if I had to again.

Everything is just a matter of ones own opinion....all in all I say good deal if this is what you're looking for an dhave the money. Thumbs up!

Agreed! however I beleive the install includes a a sd tune which is 650.00 just about anywhere. so you have to take that into consideration too.
The LMS kit is 6500.00 for a 112 and includes a mail order tune. Mtis kit is 8k w/ a 122 and install and a full tune.It also has a much cleaner looking tbody setup than my LMS kit.

I was excited until I saw some cutting was involved to get it to fit. Very clean looking though.

I understand about wanting to sounds stock but here in Texas 400-500rwhp just isn’t cutting it with Supra's and GT500's etc running around down here in the south. IMO this kit was needed 3-4 years ago but now with aftermarket heads available and intakes etc its going to be hard to compete with the rwhp people are making with H/C combos make 460-500rwhp.

I agree Strini SS, there are lots of head and cam cars nearing 500 rwhp these days. 500rwhp is now considered tame now a days. Its almost scary.

This kit looks interesting. I have been looking at the APS TT kit. I know zero about forced induction besides it sounds really cool and helps you haul ***.

I would be interested in some more detailed install instructions.

The kit looks good, but I'd be interested in seeing A: how much needs to be trimmed off the cowl B: what kind of power this setup would make with a set of heads, headers, and a mild cam, 224/224.

If I could add another 100rwhp/100 rwtq it would be worth the $5000 in my mind.

They don't seem to be releasing to much info on this setup. Between this thread and the other there isn't much to go on.

A positive displacement supercharger can respond to bolt-on modifications similar in fashion like a natural aspirated engine. Since bolt-on modifications (cams, heads, etc..) vary in increase, you should be able to see similar increases when using this system.

The results above were acheived with stock exhaust, stock cam, stock heads, stock air cleaner. Aftermarket bolt-ons would yield higher results.

The potential power is crazy. Did you see on the inside cover of GMHTP they had a maggie supercharger on a 434 with ls2 style heads at 15 lbs of boost it made
855 ft lbs @ 2500 rpm
926 ft lbs @ 3500 rpm
949 hp @ 6300 rpm
Can you say POWER EVERYWHERE!!!
Supras eat your heart out. Only a mp2300 wont fit under a camaro cowl. I dont think.
I believe they built this for a trailblazer SS.
