Default Which injectors to use? 30lb/36lb/42lbs w/ Comp 287 XER cam?

I will be putting a cam over the winter and wanted to make sure I get the right fuel injectors setup with my cam.

Stock LS6-CAI/Headers
Cam: comp cam 287 XE-R:Adv. Dur. 287 Int./289 Exh.; Valve Lift .605 Int./.609 Exh.; Lobe Angle 112 deg.;

Am I missing anything else?

I run 30# FMS in mine with no issues but your cam is bigger. I would check the injector duty cycle after the cam is installed.

Yeah, I would need the EV6 to EV1 connectors.

That cam will be awesome with 11-1+ compression and a stage 2 or 3 cnc factory head or 215-225 aftermarket head, and a FAST 90-90. Your 39# inj should work fine. Hopefully, you can get some dyno results in the spring. Good Luck.

PS, Comp Cams has the new Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms and lifters I saw on LSXTV at SEMA. Check it out.

Are you talking about the 03/04 Cobra 39# injectors?

From what I've read the spray pattern is not the best for our motors...since on the Cobra they are 4 valve heads...

Yes, they are 39# injectors from a Cobra. I just bought them yesterday.

I did a search and read about the different spray patterns.

I also found this from http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injec...ODS.asp#cng150

Ford rates this injector at 39lbs/hr.
User Note: The Bosch/Ford 0280156127 is a highly efficient fuel injector that incorporates a wide-cone fuel delivery. Use in engines with single- and multi-intake valves.
