Default injector size for a 383?????

Im almost done with my 383 ls1 build, but im lost when it comes to injector size. A few people are telling me to get the ford greentop 42lb injectors. Im not sure if that is to much for the motor. Could you guys give me some of your opinions on the injector needs.
P.S. the motor will be sprayed with a wet shot.

Id say go with the 42s if you plan on making >500rwhp. If not then i'd go with a 36

Yea i am planing on making over 500 rwhp, but i dont know if its going to happen. I guess ill just get the 42lb injectors and turn them down if i dont need that much.

Lucas 42# injectors here. Plenty of fuel for my 383. Much bigger than that and they can get hard to idle well with the stock PCM.

My setup:
Lucas 42lb Injectors
FAST 17mm ID fuel rails
-8 crossover line
Stock feed line with adapter to a a -6 feed
-6 return line
SX Performance Adjustable FPR (set to 63psi)
Single Walbro 255lph high pressure pump
Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump (activated by NX Maximizer)

The Boost-a-Pump is not required to run 42's. I only use it when I spray a 200hp wet shot using the NX progressive. I put dpwn 492whp and the injectors only touched 70% for an instant in the logs. Most of the time it was 67-68% duty. I have never ran out of fuel.

Is that 492 with the 200 shot? Im looking at @ 500 but will plan on running a 200 shot in the very near future. Just trying to get the car running for now and then move on to the nitrous setup. Is there anything that i need in addition to the 42lb injectors on a all motor setup.

Nope. 492whp with no nitrous. Through a T56 and a Moser Ford 9" with a Detroit Locker.
