I stumbled upon this thread randomly, but I actually now own the original triple in tank setup Veee8 did. I am working on putting together my fuel system now and figuring out all the little fittings I'll need. How is your setup holding up for you MM?

I read a little ways back you were replacing the fuel lines with something lighter. I'm thinking that using 1/2 stainless tubing and the OEM feed as a return will get me towards what I'm hoping to reach.

What BSFC are you using to calculate flow necessities?

How much do the 3 pumps actually flow as installed ? Have you tested them in real life conditions ?

The limiting point would obviously be the 3 way connector. It's been enough for 1200 rwhp in the past. I don't think I've seen anyone top out three pumps, but it would be interesting to know the actual flow value.

It is common knowledge that thats about how much more fuel it takes to achieve the same air fuel. I have converted about 8 600-1000 rwhp cars from gas to e-85 and they all have 2-3 walbros.

I seen fuel flowing into a bucket. So what ?

There was no details of how it was tested, or what it was flowing.

"A lot" isnt really sufficient for designing a fuel system, or for making comparisons with other designs.

Your dual in tank writeup is like the Bible to me at the moment, and thank you very much for posting up your builds. I'm thinking thousands upon thousands of dollars has been saved by many people.

I have one quick question. How do you make it so you have one pump running full time and one or two kicking on under boost? My plan is a dual setup with one Walbro running all the time and a second coming on under boost. Confused as to how to keep one off while the other is running until you want it to turn on. Thanks man!

some people use a 'hobbs' switch which activates it at certain boost, other people activate it by throttle position like a nitrous switch, other people can activate it by an output on their computer, other can use an output by their boost controller.

1 pump always one. 2 & 3 come on at 2psi + hobbs

Factory fuel level works with modified bucket. just cut 90% of the bucket. Only concern now is the bucket not holding any fluid. The metal tanks ive heard actually have built in baffles in the tank?
