Please explain or elaborate. I'm not posting to disagree, but need an explanation how an inline works with a intank pusher pump.
In a technical manual I've read that an inline doesn't help much because volume and pressure is determined by the weakest link in the fuel system.
We know the stock pump is the weak link because it can't supply the required volumes necessary for anything over 450-500 hp.
So how does the inline increase volume since it can only push what it gets(volume from the stock pump). I would think it would cavitate if the first pump can't supply the necessary volume.
Obviously the easy and cheaper way to go is to add an inline rather than pull the stock pump and replace it but, I don't understand how an inline can help if it is dependent upon the stock pump for volume.
Thanks
