Default What is considered a "skinny" injector?

like the title asks, what is considered a "skinny" injector? need them for my fast 102 setup for an ls1.

Probably ones that are .5" wide versus the ones that are twice as big.
Skinny, and fat. Im no injector pro... this is just a guess.

specifically what brands and is there any way to tell? Are all ls1 injectors "skinny?"

What size are you looking for? I had a set of 43# ones that were fat, and then a set of 60# mototrons that were skinny, I have a set of 120# now that are fat... all depends on the maker i guess. Whatever you buy either ask, or look at a pic. Some say what they are and have dimensions listed.

42 svo are fat body and will not fit in a fast 102 intake

then what brands carry "skinny" injectors? is there a way to modify the intake/fuel rails to make green tops fit?

We have 42#, 50#, and 60# in "skinny" injectors for the LS1/LS6 engines.

Flow matched and balanced sets, all injectors are within 2% of each others flow rates both statically and dynamically.

Well i picked up some svo green tops off here for a friend.. he ended up not needing them so i got them for free.. so i was wondering if there was any way to make these work with the fast fuel rail kit on the 102.. this way i could save a couple hundered bucks

Listen to FIC. If they say they won't fit then its time to look for something different.

all late model bosch,siemens are thin body and 100% stainless internals.these are the most used injectors in the ls market.

they are early technology.also the spray pattern is for a multi valve head.

Sell the green tops for a couple hundred bucks, and use that to buy some used injectors that will fit. You just saved a couple of hundred bucks that way.

thats what im gonna do.. im gonna be picking up a set from FIC.. i was looking at FAST injectors and the 36# are in the 300$ range while the 42# are in the 700$ range.. anyone know why there is such a jump? you can get 60# for less than 42#

I just bout the ls1/6 36lb injectors from hinsonsupercars for 310 thats shipping aswell
