Default Edelbrock Fuel Rails

I have Edelbrock fuel rails that come with the LS1 vic jr intake manifold. I am using AN fuel fittings. There is fuel leaking on the ends of the fuel rails. I was wondering if this is somthing that happens often. I am pretty sure that I have the fittings tight enough and I am hoping the fuel rail is not cracked. This is leaking on the passenger rail on the front and the driver rail on the back.

What fittings are you using? I believe those take metric fittings with a crush washer

Dumb question, did you put thread tape on it? If so, then I'd look and see if there is a crack in it.

I did not use thread tape but I did use a sealer in the threads that fuel would not eat through.

I'd recommend swapping to the thread tape.

I will give that a try. I looked at it closer and the fuel rail is not cracked. I am afraid if i tighten the fittings more that i might crack the fuel rail.

I have never had the dope not leak. I always use thread tape even when not recommended. Just don't over tighten it (reason its not recommended) because you can tighten it more with the slick surface of the teflon.
