Default FINALLY you can stop eating budget pumps on E85

AEM just released their E85 compatible version of the 320lph pump! A budget, high flow, fully E85 compatible drop-in pump. We've got these in stock ready to ship. We had quite a few customers looking forward to these coming out. This is gonna be $119.99 shipped and can be purchased through my website here: https://sdparts.com/details/aem/50-1200

The AEM E85 Fuel Pump is designed for in-tank installation on high performance naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles. It flows 320 lph (84 gph) at 43 PSI (please refer to the chart for fuel pump horsepower versus pressure for various applications and fuel types).

AEM’s E85 Fuel Pump features robust internal construction that is designed to withstand the low lubricity characteristics of ethanol and methanol fuels, and has been tested to work with ethanol fuels up to E100, methanol fuels up to M100 and all types of gasoline.

The AEM E85 Fuel Pump features a compact 39mm diameter that fits most applications. It features an offset inlet design that eases installation and includes a wiring harness, pre filter, internal fuel hose and clamps, end cap and rubber buffer sleeve. Every AEM E85 Fuel Pump is tested to flow 320 lph at 43 PSI before it is packaged for sale.

AEM High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump Features:
Tested and compatible with ethanol fuels up to E100, methanol fuels up to M100 and all types of gasoline
Designed for high output naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles
In tank design
Each pump is tested to flow 320 lph @ 43 PSI
39mm diameter fits most applications
Offset inlet design eases installation

^^Interested in the same info. I have twin in-tank Aero 340's that I havent used yet. I have seen many people have success with the 340's but have also heard of a few issues. If the Walbro's are truly E85 compatible then it may force me to sell the 340's to play it safe.

The pumps would handle 1200-1400 crank HP according to the AEM information

We have not taken cars all the way to their limits on either pump to directly compare power capabilities. 320 to 340lph is so close that it's in the margin of error for voltage to the pump or other small differences in the vehicle. All things alike, the aeromotive should win. We stock and sell lots of aeromotive stealth 340 pumps as well as these AEMs and people are generally happy with both

These AEM pumps are TRULY E85 compatible. Any E85 pump will fail if you let the filters clog though, and that can be a problem on E85 sometimes.

Considering none of the others are truly E85 compatible (this AEM is tested to E100) I would say they can't all be the exact same China crap with a different case. If they were all the same, AEM would have just kept one part number for the pump and told you that it may or may not work just like most of the other companies do. Instead they spent time developing and testing a proper E85 pump before releasing it.

I'll cut the first couple of guys to pick these up a break on the price to get some results.

How do these compare performance wise to the 340lph pumps? I take it these can be run twin intank just like the 255lph and the 340lph pumps right?

How do they work for constant operation? I've just burned up a 340lph pump that I'm finding out overheats from constant operation. I've got two of them in the tank, one via boost reference.

Yes, installation should be identical to a Walbro 255.

None of these pumps should overheat from constant operation, especially not when properly installed in the tank and submersed.

To the best of my knowledge it will.

I have the gas AEM 340 pump and it's awesome. They pull a lot of current and should DEFINITELY get a wire upgrade.

Would two of these be overkill for a 5.3 w/ a billet 76 pushing 18-20lbs, -08 feed & -06 return w/ 80 lb injectors & 91 + meth?
