I read this and had to do it it was a good learning experience thanks for all the pictures like you said pictures speak 1000 words. The only problem I had is that I did have to cut the trap door cause when I put the tank back in the bulkhead 90°s were pushing up on the rear deck not sure what would be any difference

I got a quick question for you, a little off topic but figured I'd ask. So will two 450's clear the opening on the top for the tank for a 98? Are the holes the same diameter for both the 98's and 99-02? I was planning to do either dual or triple 255's but hell if two 450's will clear and they are made for e85, win win!

I do not have 100% confirmation they are same size, but I am pretty sure I have seen dual 450s in a 98 setup...

Maybe someone else can chime in

I don't know if the tank opening is actually smaller, but I do know that 2 450's will fit in a steel tank. I had 2 450's side by side and they were a VERY tight squeeze. I'm not even sure how I got them in to be honest. They just all the sudden fell in. Another member on here has done 2 450's staggered and says those went in without issue. My most recent pump setup is 2 450's staggered and a 320 which all fit through the stock steel tank opening without even putting up a fight.

450s and a 320:

Thank you Sir, this answers all my questions regarding the 450's fitment. Damn and you added a 320 good god, bet you can pump the fuel out faster than the pump at the station can put it in!
