since it is thicker it takes more effort to install....i used a twisting motion to get it in the bucket
the ID is a hair less so the fit is tighter....much better

i used a small pair of needle nose pliers to coax the tube onto the pump nipple ...the thicker tube really comes in handy in this instance

I remember we had this same problem and we would have fuel starvation after driving for a while.
It was around 6 months later the issue arrised.
Whats messed up was we asked on here about our issue.
Racetronix answered saying this has been covered in our support forum.... f-that just tell me wtf the problem is.
Racetronix never answered or helped in this forum on the issue.
Then trying to join was a pain in the rear which didn’t happen as it wouldn’t let me get passed the birthdate info.
A guy posted a link to a guy who had a similar issue.
We dropped the tank and it was kinked when we took it out or you could see the kink that was there.

i dont know what is worse.....a brand new tube that kinks when you install it.....or the old one that was so shot it crumbles as you remove it

moral of the story.....if you have NEVER changed your fuel pump and/or hoses......you are on borrowed time.....you may find yourself chasing problems you cant find fixes for cause you will never suspect leaky/shot hoses
and using the tube in the racetronix kit may be frustrating too

it crumbled even more after the pic

Yeah it’s a simple design that can be flawed by that little hose than wreak havoc trying to figure out why your car isn’t running right. Before we dropped the tank, we put on a fp gauge, saw the pressures dropping into the 30s psi range if I recall.

Racetronix has the worst customer service of any company I have deal with by far!

Problem started with low FP at WOT.
Put in a Racetronix pump in but problem was the regulator. After replacing regulator FP at WOT was fixed but now I had a starvation problem when tank was low. Turned out the venturi hose in their kit kept popping off the pump. Replaced venturi hose with the part number supplied by OP. Now everything works as it should.

I notice your FPR nipple is facing up. Mine came oem facing down. Reckon it matters when the tank is full ? Or in this application (in-tank) is the nipple not actually doing anything?
Normally they reference map right?
