I removed the valve in the rail and used an adapter to mount the gauge (or pressure sensor) to the rail directly and not the line.

No, I get a 4 AN female to 1/8" NPT female adapter and put it on the Schrader valve. Then either screw in a gauge or a pressure sensor.

Running right off the rail at the schrader valve. -4an fittings I believe. Braided line then goes to the nitrous solenoid.

I hate to revive this thread but I can't seem to figure out which attachment I need for the schrader valve. The auto meter 3227 kit came with an adapter but it doesn't fit? What size do I need to accomplish this?

The 3 foot hose that comes with the kit will connect to the threads, but I don't want to use that line if I don't have to.

You're looking for a -4AN female to 1/8 NPT fitting.

Glowshift makes a cheap one, that's what I use and it worked perfect, good price too. Vibrant also makes one, a little more expensive.

These are the parts I used to plumb my Schrader valve into my EGR connector.

Caspers 107133 GM Schrader valve pressure gauge fitting $16
Autometer 2246 fuel pressure sender $95
Autometer 5227 harness $20
Delphi 12186056 female EGR connector $6
