Default Fuel sensor fittings

Hello, my fuel system requires me to add a low pressure sensor to my fuel line. Right now I am making it out of 6-an line, but the sensor 13596664 uses a barbed o ring fitting.

What fitting would I use to get this to work with -6an? I figured it would be something like this or similar, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fra-491990-bl but I think those are only for the steel lines going directly to the fuel rail.

When looking at pictures of OEM cars, they use one of the special tubes that are factor molded. Since this is a high pressure line for an LT4 I don't want to just use a hose clap with a rubber line on it.

For reference, Vaporworks makes a product that fixes this issue, but I already spent the money on the sensor and plug, and would prefer to not have to buy another one.(The person I bought the sensor from has not responded to my emails, so it's why I am asking)

If it's a low pressure sensor, why is it going on a high pressure line??

because it's a returnless fuel system, it uses this sensor for diagnostic purposes for the fuel pressure control module

anything involving the sensor you posted a picture of is going to use hose and clamps, which I wouldn’t personally run as you’ve said. I would do a 6an in/out fitting with an npt hole and put in a proper sealed sensor like the one you posted in the first post. This way you’ll have nothing to worry about down the line. It’ll also look much cleaner

The sensor you pictured is a fuel TANK pressure sensor, not a fuel LINE pressure sensor. Definitely has no business at all being plumbed into a pressure line.

Thats not true, for Gen V LT engines, this sensor goes inline, it does not sit in the tank.

I was afraid of that, I guess I'll just suck it up and buy the vaporworks fitting

The pictures I saw of that sensor showed it being in an EVAP line to read tank pressure.

Either way, I'm just going to sell this part, I bought a new sensor on amazon, and the required fittings from vapor works, I don't want to deal with a barbed fitting

Can you use something like in the pic and use a pressure transducer??
