Were can you purchase the boost a pump that goes with the racetronix kit?
I am pretty sure that either the Kenne Bell or the MSD will work. It seems like a lot of guys are liking the MSD a lot.

I'm not real sure, but I think that they both wire up the same way.

Yes, the MSD or KB unit can be plugged into the Racetronix harness.
If you look at the picture here in our ad you will see the connector for the booster: http://www.racetronix.com/product/RX...99-FPWHG-2.jpg

Do you sell this too? I'm definately going to need more fuel than for just 550 RWHP. Also, are you ever gonna finish that rail mounted regulartor?

We do not distribute the boosters. You can buy these from some of our dealers listed on our web page.

Racetronics or others....I just purchased my racetronics kit w/ hotwire. I am going to be about 650rwhp+ on a 150-175 shout of N20. Will the MSD booster work on a car that is not suppling a boost/vac signal? I want the pump to go to 16V at WOT cuz when the noids open alot of fuel is going by by!

Or do you think the pump and hotwire kit are enough for this HP? With a Walbro 225 on the stock wiring I was getting lean when on the 150 jets at 605rwhp.

For instant-on apps the KB booster is recommended.
MSD unit requires boost.

So do you recommend it for me and my current RWHP rating being that I will exceed 600? Or is the Hotwire kit sufficent by itself?

Where can one buy a KB unit? Does he have distributers or must you buy direct?

thank you!

KB is recommended.
A list of sponsoring Racetronix dealers is listed on our site.
Racetronix does not distribute the MSD or KB boosters.
KB does sell them retail.

Is this the right one? Cuz it does mention boost? What will fire this thing off the Hotwire relay?

And do I want the 20AMP or 40AMP kit?

The KB unit has two wires which when shorted boost the voltage. They use a pressure switch in their kit to activate the booster. Instead of using the pressure switch you use a relay off of your N2O activation or WOT switch to trigger the KB unit. The power in and out wires on the KB unit have the RX-PBIC connector set installed and plugged into the RX harness. The KB ground wires are attached to the chassis ground. It is a very simple installation with the RX harness.

1 more question, would I need the 20amp or 40amp one?

Thanks again!

I installed a Holley 255lph pump in my car and it went right in. Despite what the venders said who tried to sale me a RX pump instead made it sound like I would be making a hack job of my fuel system with the holley. In reality the only modification I had to do was splice two wires going from the fuel pump to the wireing harness. I only paid around $120 and it works great. It was a direct bolt in to me.

If you don't value what the factory system has to offer then by all means install a generic pump and disable the bucket's functionality. GM engineers put the bucket in there for many good reasons. Truly understanding the fuel system is the only way to appreciate what you have lost.

Very true. That bucket may keep your pump from burning up when you run low on fuel. By not allowing it to keep full, the pump runs the risk of "burning up". The surrounding fuel not only keeps the pump cool, but it keeps a constant supply of fuel available as it is essentially another fuel tank withing your fuel tank. Run your car low on fuel without your bucket keeping factory function and your asking for problems.

I installed my Racetronix kit in about 2 hours with my car in the street. I did the trap door method to save time. I know you're supposed to flush the tank, but I'm too lazy to pull the whole thing out. Get the Racetronix kit if you want to do it right the first time.

I ordered a holley fuel pump replacement for my car and it was wrong. Not all the tubes get connected and you have to make your own electrical splice that will have to be placed in the gas......I won't do that. Therefore I am returning the holley fuel pump and I ordered a Racetronix kit Saturday. Hopefully, this kit is as sweet as Racetronix webpage states it is.
