On the low side, especially at WOT. The GM manual calls for 55-60 psi at the rail with the ignition switch in the ON position. Another thing to test is the pressure bleed down. It can't hurt to change the filter, especially if it's the original one. It could also be the pressure regulator.

mine does the exzct samne thing but more like a constant 52 an idle and around 48-50 at wot, i already changed the filter with same results, so i guess i am going to get a new pump and regulator, gonna be doing a h/c swap soon anyway so this will be out of the way

Could be because your voltage is low at idle and when you add rpm the alternator puts out more voltage increasing fuel flow/pressure.

I have an upgraded fuel pump (racetronix) on a h/c car. At first it started off at 60psi and has dropped to 53psi and goes to 50 psi at wot. I've changed the filter and pump is pretty new (~5k miles). How do you test to see if the regulator is bad?
