I've used BG 44k with good results, but it's expensive.

anyone every heard of SeaFoam? .... also whats the point with fuel injector cleaners, gas is meant to clean them anyway and everytime i have seen an intake off of a car the area around the injector and the injector itself is clean as hell

Seafoam cleans carbon from the intake tract and combustion chambers. Doesn't ever go through the injectors, but it does work well.

SeaFoam, when poured into the tank like most consumers do, cleans the injectors very well. Just most here use it for top engine cleaner like you mentioned. Originally, it was an additive meant to be poured into the tank though.

remember SeaFoam.

When I use it I take half a tank of gas and do a full bottle of it. I don't use that much at a time, I don't guess there is any sense in putting it in stronger than they recommend

Not making argument but yes SeaFoam does do it, cleans the best by far but definitely does foul out plugs

I use Lucas, seems to be effective without fouling. If you screw with the ratios on that seafoam stuff it tends to do that. I use lucas on a half tank of gas every once in a while.
