Re: Question for guys using Aeromotive A1000 Fuel pumps
I'm not running the control box on mine, just the pump wired to a dedicated 12v source triggered by the stock pump wiring.
I can see how the controller could be a good thing in a more "daily driven" combo, but I don't think the A1000 has any real longevity issues being run w/o the box...

Re: Question for guys using Aeromotive A1000 Fuel pumps
hey man, i dont have any pics of it yet, its still sorta top secret...well not really, but i dont want people picking it apart before its done...
i will soon...im happy to answer any question if he has any, i consider myself pretty knowledgable about jeeps in general, XJS mostly, this cherokee will be competition ready when its done.
specs are warmed up ls1 on bottle,
rev man4L80, atlas 2, 1350 one ton driveline, ford dana 60 front axle, GM 14 bolt rear, itll have a couple different pairs of shoes, some 37s/39s/42s when its done. as you know XJs are unibody, so im building a full subframe on it, as well as internal and external roll cage. the indside is all business, linexed interior, fuel cell, mastercraft rubicon race seats...i think thats it...i wont go too far off topic, but if he needs any advice, dont hesistate.

None at all...I am running Stage 2 heads and a fairly aggressive cam with SVO 30# injectors. I do run a vacuum reference regulator and set by base pressure at 50psi. Most of the time the car is running arouond at 42-44psi. It rises to 50psi when I get on it.
