My fuel gauge doesn't work after I put in the walbro...I figure either I broke it going in or the wire came loose. Does anyone know which wires from the fuel tank are for the fuel gauge? Or can anyone offer any advice? Thanks

Doubt it is the wires and I hope you wen tw/ the access cover hole cut. Take the pump ***'m out, hold it horizontal with the float arm on top. Gently push swing the arm, where it sticks is where it is bent, which is too easy to do on install! Easy fix, carefully grabbing the float arm, pull the float toward the pump body, and make sure the contacts are still brushing across the patch (brass lines on ***'m). My buddy's was the same way, we pulled it out, swung it and it stuck at about an 1/8 tank.If the guage moves upon initial start up (key on) then thats more likely the culprit.
If the guage doesnt even attempt to move then it is wiring.
Good-luck.
Charlie.

cool, thans charlie. I had actually pulled the tank the first time but there is NO WAY I'm going to do that again..what a PITA! So I'm going to cut a access hole today and I will take your advice and report back.

Make sure you cut the right access, hate to see ya cut the 99+ hole for a 93-98car, ouch! Its way easier and what you are going thru right now is exactly why I chose to do mine that way.
Good-luck.

Cool sig pic! I fixed it already. I cut an access panel hole (20 mins) then pulled the pump and put it right back in, making sure the float wasn't caught on anything (another 20) mins. Then I closed it back up (20min) and now I'm all done. It only took an hour so I'm happy.

Good-job. Next time something goes awry, or you wanna upgrade pumps etc...you'll be glad you cut that little hole. Besides when you install a rollbar, and go to weld the rear plates you can do like I did and lay a garden hose under there to keep the sheetmetal from distorting too much and cool off any spatter that heads for the lines!
