Again sure what your not to clear of what your are talking about. If your talking about the vapor recovery and evap lines, then you need to leave them on.

If you're talking about the EVAP lines and want to remove those, beware that you will get a MIL. Why would you want to get rid of it anyway? The only part of the system you see, is the purge solenoid and purge line. It's very little weight saving, maybe less than 10 pounds. Just go on a diet for a week. Besides you have to drop the fuel tank to get to the canister which has the most mass of the entire system. With all that torque, we don't have to be thinking like ricers.

It'll be the same as not eating any big macs for a week. Besides when you go to sell the car no one is going to want all your ricer rigged "engineering."

Believe me I've ripped enough worthless crap off the car already that it's not gonna matter if I would ever try to sell it. Hell I can't even put the EGR and AIR back on since my headers no longer have the bungs. I vote to ditch it. Sounds like an easy way to lose 10lbs and get that ugly evap solenoid out from under the hood. I have edit so the codes won't matter.

In that case, why don't you just take out your airbags. That's another 10 pounds. How about sound deadening, that's worth some weight also. This is ridiculous, you all should own riced out civics. The canister purge solenoid weighs only a few ounces. To really shed any weight by removing the EVAP system you have to drop the tank to get to the canister. If you people really want to shed some serious weight, get rid of all that glass and install plexiglass or lexan.

30thWS6... you talk a lot of smack. Wanna race my stock internal car?
The EVAP box on the tank itself is several lbs. It does clean up the car nicely removing all of that crap. You do have to have a tank vent tube though.

That's ironic...no airbags or sound deadening here....opps no bumper supports either. Wanna know the best part? I have a street car that SHOULD run 9's and DOES take lots of trophies at car shows. I think I'll pass on the civic for now.

That is incredibly ironic. Thanks civic girl for giving me, and everyone else, such a good laugh. Do you have the coffee can muffler, body kit, bookshelf wing, and a million useless gauges to complement the rest of the package? SHOULD run 9's but REALLY runs 19's is typically case for most ricers.

What are you trying to get laid here Magnus? Look, I'm just trying to have a little fun. If you people want to take it so seriously, that's all the better for me. I'm just trying to spice things up a bit.
So what did you really pick up by removing all that, besides road noise and sealing your fate in an accident?

Anytime you wanna bring some cash and watch me get a 19 second timeslip you're more then welcome. If you wanna line up beside me I'll be glad to give you a look at my altezza tail lights as they get smaller and smaller in front of you also. As a matter of fact I do have a body kit and lots of gauges. I like to think that they're not useless though.

Check out my web page, link is in the sig and click V8 swap.
I pluged up the tank lines and left one open where I ran a vacuum line up along the filler neck and it just hangs there.
I also plugged up the intake with a little rubber cap.
