Default Racetronix 255 pump limits

Trying to find out what RWHP a 255 in tank replacement racetronix pump, with upgraded wiring, will support. Thi is for a friends cammed/spray car. I'm curious how far it would go on a boosted engine as well though.

From what I've read, it's suppose to be in the 600-650rwhp range.

Generally 550rwhp is the max I recommend on a power adder car. Some go higher, some have problems above this level.

I stock the Racetronix kits.
If you need a bigger fuel system, I can also get you what you need for your setup.

can you upgrade the racetronix P&P to withstand about 800rwhp?

I build twin intank setups for this purpose.

Trying to get a 50+% increase with a voltage booster is pushing things. At 800rwhp, you need corresponding fuel system mods as well.

Lonnie,

Are the other mods you're talking about things like larger feed line, fuel rails & injectors, or are there other things? Of course, by the time you have anything like 800hp you'd want to be using a huge gauge wire for pump power directly from the alternator, right?

I was referring to lines, rails, & front mount regulator... etc. You need to get the fuel to the motor & hold the proper pressure.

I'm at this level with a Boost-A-Pump on E85 & 10psi with room for more. This is on a return style sytem.

Just an FYI

Try posting UNcorrected dyno numbers. Fuel systems don't give a **** about weather corrected HP. If your numbers are right, you have the one magic 255 that God built on a Wednesday just before lunch.

So.....ummm....my UNcorrected numbers are maybe +or- 30, whats your point? Lonnie just said 550rwhp can be reached with a 255 on a power adder car, so I add a boost-a-pump and now I'm a liar?

I guess God loves me, obviously not you

Adding a return style setup will gain you a decent amount of extra fuel control, as well as the boost-a-pump increasing the pump output.

550rwhp on E85 would be roughly equivalent to 720rwhp on gas, so this requires quite a bit of fuel. This is a lot, even with a pump booster. It is entirely possible, but what I consider on the ragged edge of safety.

No juice, I am guessing you are running a large injector with a lowered base pressure?
