Default Strange chromoly dshaft color??

UPDATE: Pics posted.

Quick question for you guys with the strange setup. What color did you paint it? Everything else will be black powdercoat, so I was thinking about silver/aluminum for the tube ends but not sure on the tube color. I know it is a preference question but I like my stuff to look as good as it runs and need some ideas. Thanks for the help.

I know at work we paint them a chassis gray which looks like white but I wanted to go a different route.

Alright, this is what I came up with. I painted the tube ends satin black and the tube Rustoleum aluminum color. Waiting for half to dry so I can spin it around on the jack stands will get pics once done.

Not a bad job for some rattle can paint
I just painted mine w/ some flat black rustoleum to hopefully cut down on the rust.
On a side note, you're gonna love your MWC 9" when you get it. I've got a similar setup as yours. It ties the back end of the car together really well.

Not sure if it is ARP or not. I do know there is alot of locktite on it. We also used a paint marker to make sure if it backs off I will be able to see it.

Thats an ARP... the OE ford nuts are better..... they used alot of loctite because they have a history of comming loose..... Some people were torquing them to 300ft pounds and that solved the problem..... Untill the pinions started breaking

I think the 2 applications are different from a cup car and the high speeds to what my use will be but either way I will keep my eye on it.
