Default anyone want to trade my 12 bolt for yours?

The rear is a Moser 12 bolt with 33 spline axles with longer wheel studs, C clip emininators, 4.10 gears, Eaton posi with Moser aluminum bearing cap support style cover.

i had it in my car not very long at all, didnt take long to realize i need 3.73 gears. 4.10 is to steep for an automatic

so im looking for the same thing just 3.73

You could put taller tires on the rear. Bob

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy new gears and swap them?

300 bucks tops will get you the gear set and set up kit... then you'll have brand new gears and bearings in your rear... with brand new fluid.

Shipping, or cost of gas to pick up their rearend and/or deliver yours. unless they are very close to you.....not free!!

I would suggest doing the gear swap as well....however, hopefully(unlikely though) someone can/will trade you and it doesn't cost you anything.

swapping the gears out in the 12 bolt you have now would be the sensible thing to do.

Where'd you take a class? I've setup gears, but nobody has ever actually taught me how and I'm kinda curious if there are any shortucts to measuring for shims that I haven't figured out on my own.
