Default SOO much play in my driveshaft!!!!

Moser 9" with Detroit locker is that means anything.... Car is up on jackstands and in neutral I can rotate the driveshaft about 1/3 of a turn back and fourth without the wheels "engaging" is this normal?

That's normal with a locker. Freaked me out when I first got mine, called Eaton and asked them. They need that extra "slop" to function correctly, up to 50 degrees of freeplay is considered normal.

I'd say I have 120 degrees from the point at which my wheels start to turn then rotating it in the opposite direction???? It's a ful 1/3 of a full rotation that I can spin with my hand back and fourth...

Still think it's probably fine. I'll turn mine by hand tonight and see how much play I've got.

I checked mine last night, I've got ~1/4 turn of freeplay. Run it.
