Default MWC 9" axles

I blew up my rear end last night and am looking to order a near 9" by the end of next week. I was looking at the MWC setup and was wondering how much whp the 31 spline axles will support? Im currently low 400s but the plan is for mid 900s on juice by the end of the year. Should i upgrade the axles or will 31s handle okay?

well it be 500 shot you are adding? i know it sounds like a stupid question. but if so. yes upgrade. but if you ahve alike a550 horse motor and you add srpay it is less abusive. lol

call eric. Great guy. if i had to spend the money again. i would do it in a heart beat.

just for thought over the 31 spline. next is the 33 full spool. or 35 with locker truetrac spool or my favorite. the Wavetech.

Do 35's. Don't cheap out on axles.

the plan is fa progressive 400+ shot. Its what I planned for when I built the new motor. The car is and will be a street strip car but not a DD so it needs some driveability so id rather not go with a spool. I wouldn't mind a locker though. Anyone care to explain the differences and benefits of the good lockers tome?

def do at least a 35 spline, and personally i'd just throw a spool in it. save the weight and money instead of doing the wavetrac.

Ya 35 spline for sure. I went with 35 spline to leave room for improvement for the future.

well the wavetrac does not weigh much more then the spool believe it or not. and for the street a spool is really no good if your going to drive the car often. i have been in spooled cars and ya lol. the wavetrac only comes in 35 spline and honestly if your an M6 car making big power and driving on the street its the only option

M6 with a spool here. Not a DD either, weekend toy. Spool isn't 1/2 of what some of these guys make it out to be. Save the $$ and weight. A Spool is proven.
