Default 3.50 or 3.73? 700hp procharged

I tried searching here and the forced induction section, trying to find polls or peoples experiences but didnt find anything of my use.

I just ordered a MWC 9'',wavetrac,shortened 2'' with a watts link. I'm looking for something w grunt on the street but not too tall cuz I like looking for ferrari's and lambos on the highway. I was leaning torwards the 3.70. The car is a weekend warrior/cruiser.

My car details are in my sig, and Im also ordering stranos springs and shocks
I would appreciate some help

I would think the 3.73 would work fine, still gives you enough to run it out and build boost quicker.

I don't have a boosted car but I would think that would work, the 3.50 would take slightly longer to hit peak boost I would think?

I doubt that helps much but I find this interesting, post how it does with the setup you choose?

I would personally do 3.50 gears on a boosted car. If your looking for highway/street car gear.

If you race alot at the track I would do 3.73.

I was leaning torwards a 3.70 just because I don't want to lose low end grunt on
the street, but I don't want to be at a high rpm on the highway, I've never been in a geared car

dude you make 700 hp at the wheels! If your car was a h/c car like mine i would say 4.10 like i have but with a blower you should be making a ton of low end T/Q, enough to shred even the fattest drs for a block. rock a 3.50, you wont lose any down low, in fact I ll bet you hook better with that gear. but just my opinion, I have only had turbo cars besides my camaro so i havent had much experience

No expert either but I would go with the 3.5 because if you cant get traction you are not gonna beat anyone.

Wow, as I am reading more I see that 3.50 is a pretty high gear for a supercharged street car....

I was thinking that I was gonna leave something on the table by having a lower gear (numerically), maybe I should be looking at 3.4's, 3.2's or so

need some imput please need to make a decision

I totally agree with the 3.50's
My MWC fab 9" is almost done, shipping out with 3.50's as I plan to turbo in the future!

I'm ordering my rear with 4:11s. I plan on a built 370 and procharged in the future and I'm going to swap over to 3:75s when that time comes.

3.75 gears are what I recommend as an all around gear for use with ProChargers. Bob

Very happy with the 3.70s in my MWC 9. Not much difference from the stock 3.42s as I thought there was going to be. Also makes 6th more usable on the highway.

I still like the 4.10s, perfect for dropping to third gear at 70mph cuz it runs up to 95. 3.50s make that kind of awkward because you cant really hit second but then third is somewhat of a dog. I would do 3.90s if I were you, remember with 598tq you need to keep up in those rpms.

My car with my procharged setup made 676rwhp with the m6 and I ran a 3.70 gear with my MWC rear. If you go to the track some a 3.50 will hurt you as you will not be running the car all the way out in 4th and have lots of gear left.

With the M6 3.70 and 28" tall tires it was perfect at the track seeing around 138mph I was just over 6k

When I swapped to the auto and added more power the 3.70 was like 6800rpm@141mph

If it was a turbo car I would say do the 3.50 but not with the Procharger
