Default Narrow my 9 inch or buy another housing

I have the moser 9 inch and wondered if I should sell my rearend or narrow it myself.I am looking to narrow it 2 inches for a set of custom wheels.I wonder why someone would go through the trouble of installing one and not buying it narrowed to start with.Factory offset wheels look retarded to me.Especially when they have a wide rear wheel and from the side view it looks like the same offset as the front wheels all the way around. But thats just my thoughts on it.

do you just have the housing? if its a full rear, need to add the cost of shortening your axles...

cost is the big driver determining if it makes sense to shorten what you already have...
