The bearing goes on first then the ring. The ring is what holds the bearing on. Its a really tight fit. It will need to be pressed on.

How thick is that TQ arm mount? I am looking to order one but may just make my own. I was thinking 1/4" or so.

Its thicker than a 1/4. I can measure tomorrow. I got my lug nuts today, still waiting on 1 axel. Should be here next week.

I measured 3/8,

Got the brakes bled, filled it with oil, and checked everything to makes sure its tight. The drivers side wheel is on, just need to stab an axel in and I am good to go. Hopefully...

Awesome.

I am awaiting results. I just picked up this rear on Friday for 300 bucks. Spool and 3.70 gear. Check out that sweet TQ arm bracket.

Yeah I am looking at the Currie mount like the OP has.

Motor and trans are built, this is the last piece of the drivetrain.

Nice, yeah you need to do something about that TA mount. Was that in a Thirdgen, I see the wheel spacers thats why I ask? Oh I see those are adapters nevermind.

Does it already have the right housing ends on it?

I started from the rear and working my way forward. Now I need about $3800.00 for heads, cam, timing chain, oil pump, headers, y-pipe, cat back,....etc. I have been making a wish list on the TSP website... wife is going to kill me.

It was a third gen rear. Those are adapters but they are going away to make due for the Ford pattern. I am getting the conversion whole rear brake setup for about 350 shipped all new. Then I already have my whole rear sold for about 400 or so. Making this rearend costing me about 350 (after the new mount).

Only downside is Ford ends and small bearings. But it will do for now.

Good to hear.

Any reason you chose the Currie mount over the Quick Performance piece?
