Whats the benefit of going with 31 spline over 35 other than being able to run a posi if you want?

Is there a significant power loss through the 35s?

If they didnt cost as much as they do i would have one, those things are nice, and i do have 31 spline axles,so unless my current posi lets go i cant get one.

The only benefits are some people already have 31 spline axles and just want to go with a stronger differential, and if you're class racing and need every last ounce of power. The 31 spline axles do weigh a little less. I wouldn't say there is a significant power loss with 35 spline axles. If I was buying a differential and axles I would go with 35 spline. Thanks.

If your current posi doesn't let go, then you'll have saved yourself some money! That, or it's time to add more power and traction to the car! Bob

Will this fit a 12 bolt 3.062 case and put aftermarket axles in?
What is the pressure angle?

This might make a good road race application with upgrade tapered timken bearings for side load protection. Not a drag racer, so 35 spline is overkill for me. Where friction loss and weight are concerned, this might have potential.
