Detroit locker truetrac???
i was wondering if anybody could give me some feedback on the quality of the detroit locker truetrac part #dtl-912a317 and if its worth a damn puttin in my car. car puts out around 450 hp on motor and around 400 ft/lbs on motor. havin to order a new rearend cuz i busted the stock one lol

no ima keep it at a 7.5 inch but im gonna order the truetrack probably tomorrow but i wanted feedback on it before i bought it then in about 2 weeks ima get richmond 3.73's to go along with it. is the truetrac a good rearend in ur opinion since u have one lol???

i know it is a component of the rearend lol, i didnt mean that i was gonna get a whole new rear end but thanks for the link tho. i am goin to keep it a 7.5 inch but am gonna upgrade the differential, ring and pinion and axles. i dont intend on makin it a drag car so i really dont need a ford 9 inch and i dont really want ford parts on my chevy haha even tho they r the strongest rearends out there. i am goin to order the detroit truetrac but i wanted some feedback on it before i did tho

thanks for the help bob, i might upgrade to a moser 9 inch in the future but money is kind of an issue right now lol and im stuck drivin my stupid honda accord instead of the camaro so im not to happy haha. and yes the car is a 6 speed but it will be more or less set up as a street car and focused on a little bit of autocross races. the car is fast tho in the quarter, runs 12s
