Default Lookng for help with a 10 bolt

I have a 94 auto v6 and I am looking to upgrade the rear end.
The pro sticker says GU5 so from what I read I have 3.23 gears and a 3 series carrier? Was that an option for v6 models?
I am looking to stay with the same gear ratio and a truetrac diff, keep in mind I don't drag race and it is a v6 daily drive.
I am also looking for some reviews on motive gears. I want to know if they are worth putting in or what brand is best/easy to set up.
Is it worth it to replace axles while I have it open?
What other kits/bearings are needed to do it all (part #)?

Just want to check if that all seems right.
THANKS!

Part # I am talking about:
Truetrac: 912A317
Motive Gears: GM7.5-323
Moser axles: A102805

I dont understand the need for such an expensive posi in a DD V6. I would recommend a used posi out of a V8 car. Easy swap in and easy on the wallet. I have always used Motive gears and Ratech rebuild kits with good luck.

Buying new assures me that the posi unit is good and isn't close to breaking and the truetrac units run 385 with shipping from what I can find.
I'd rather do it right once and not have to worry about it.

does your rpo code also have a G80 ?
GU5 & G80 =3.23(3 series) & 'posi'(Auburn).
GU5 and NO G80 =3.23(3 series) and no 'posi.

No it is an open unit, looking to move to posi.

I am wondering about the 3 channel abs set up.
It looks like from other peoples photos the teeth are on the differential, are they reusable or affixed to the differential (so you would have to find a diff made with?) ?

Thanks!

the ABS 3 channel reluctor ring is 'pressed' onto the carrier. remove to install on different carrier.

you have to be careful not to break/damage it as they are no longer available.

... Is there any way to make sure from the outside, About to order but want to make sure that I am getting the right parts. I have heard that some companies make a 3.23 gearing that fits in the 2 series rear end...
Would the factory have used these? or if the code says GU5 it would have to be a 3 series?? Is there a way to tell if someone changed it? (I doubt they would on a v6 but is there a way to tell from the outside?)

THANKS!!!
