Default Moser 12 bolt vs 9 sec pass
Can my moser 12 with 3.73 eaton posi handle a low 9 sec pass in a 3300lb camaro? It's gonna be behind a 4l80 trans.

What do you think would be the weak link? Would a wavetrac or spool help out any?

From What I understand, the weak link is the pinion bearings. A hard launch and it will try to pull the pinion out of the case.

That can indeed happen when you're dealing with the horsepower required to run low 9's with the weight of these cars. Bob

Yeah I'll probably just end up selling the 12 bolt soon and by a fabbed 9in.
