Default Reviews on the MWC 9"

As stated in the title i want some reviews of the MWC 9" rear. Link here: http://www.midwestchassis.com/fabricated-9-specs.html
I know its beefy enough to take some abuse. Car will only have 450hp, but i know the stock 10 bolt wont last long and im gonna need a replacement soon. Anyway, was this rear easy to install? Will the torque arm they provide work with TSP true duals? Id just like to hear what you guys have to say about it. Thanks

They have a crossmember to work with duals. Easy to install. Talk to Eric at mwc and double check. That is one bad *** shop to get parts from. I liked them so much they did my cage install.

Very easy to install. I got all their suspension parts too: lca's, phb, tq arm, drag bar etc. I removed the old rear end and had the new one installed and running on jackstands within an hour and a 1/2 and it was my first time doing any of it.

Here's another question for you guys. I plan on dragging the car every now and then, but mostly a street car. Should i wait for the 10 bolt to go? or should i just go ahead and instal this rear instead? I was told the 10 bolt should be fine on the street till i go to the track. A couple people told me it would not last many low 11 sec passes

So basically get rid of the 10 bolt while i can still get some money for it, and switch to the MWC 9" How much does a 10 bolt go for?

Yeah I mean instead of breaking it you could get some money for it, not much but shoot, a lil more money from it wont hurt

I honestly cant tell you how much because miles, gears, conditions and year have to do with price. I would say the whole rear end could cost around $200-$400 could be more could be less.

try this link could help ALOT!

I have had the tsp duals with all MWC suspension components. It fits and fits good. Hell I am changing my setup and selling my MWC crossmember cuz of no more duals. Going to order me a new one from Eric.

Big fan of my mwc 9, but it ain't cheap. If you dont.launch or run stickies a 10 bolt can live a long time. For me I was not willing to risk my car/self to a broken axle and 3 wheeled trip to the wall. Most people do fine with broken c clip axles, but some get hurt badly. You can upgrade everything in the 10 bolt, but it ends up costing a ton and remains a relatively weak piece. A 9" will cost you 10+rwhp, so keep that in mind too.
.
As said, it goes in as easy as the 10 bolt comes out...unless you include pressing all the bearings, seals, reluctors. Assuming you have a press, this part of the install takes at least as long as putting the rear in the car. It could be worth it to you to avoid this step and pay mwc to do it.

I have a complete midwest setup from front to back. It installed quickly and easily. All of the parts fit together perfectly.

Well i do plan on taking it to the track with a pair of slicks and being competitive and i dont wanna go up there and have to worry if my rear is going to explode with each pass. The MWC looked to be the best thing for me and honestly the price isnt too bad for what its worth.

Trust me, spending that money on a 9" rear end is something you could not regret, it is a great investment that you know it will always be there if you ever go bigger on Horsepower. Once I save up for a 9" I will definately be looking towards MWC 9" do it right the first time and never worry about it again. Of course the 9" will decrease your Horsepower but I will say this, its not bad at all for what you pay for and for what this 9" rear end can hold...Its a great investment, you will get what you pay for
